Opening a barbershop is never easy — earning recognition within the first year is even harder.

In 2025, Sharp Society was honored to be recognized by the Memphis Flyer as a tied third-place Best Barbershop in the city of Memphis. This recognition came less than a year after opening our doors in late November 2024, alongside long-established and respected shops throughout the city.

What makes this moment special isn’t just the placement — it’s the community support behind it. Sharp Society was built through word of mouth, trust, and the people who believed in us early on. Being recognized so quickly reaffirmed our mission to create a space rooted in respect, consistency, and confidence.

As a growing shop, this milestone motivates us to keep raising the standard, refining our craft, and continuing to serve the community that helped make this possible.
